The TCMA Management Messenger welcomes Amber Lewis to her new position as the city administrator of the City of Rollingwood. Amber’s appointment as city administrator began on June 5, 2017. Previously, she served the City of Liberty Hill as senior planner, finance director, and assistant city administrator during her four year tenure. In 2001, she began her management profession serving as assistant city manager of the City of Kearney.
Amber received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska. She is currently working on her master’s in public administration with a concentration in local government from the University of Nebraska.
Amber and her husband, Brenton, have been married for nine years. Brenton is the city manager of the City of Woodcreek. They have two daughters, Ashlyn and Aubrey. When Amber is not studying, her hobbies include exercising, traveling, and swimming.
The TCMA Management Messenger introduces and welcomes Billy Hernandez to his new position as the city administrator of the City of Sundown. Billy’s appointment began in June. He has served the City in several roles including gas superintendent, public works director and assistant city administrator.
Billy and his wife, Patty, have been married for seven years. He has four children: Rodney, Megan, Rebecca, and Cecilia. Billy enjoys traveling to his daughter’s high school activities, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, riding his Harley, golfing, and watching his five grandchildren grow.
