Assessing Stories Managers Tell

Rick Herzog, professor of public administration and political science in the Department of Government at Stephen F. Austin State University, recently co-authored “Assessing Stories Managers Tell.” Through qualitative research method, seven developed assessment criteria, and a convenience sample of three city managers, it was concluded that “storytelling provides an avenue through which experiential knowledge can be transferred from the storyteller to the listener, can be studied, and can inform public administration practice and theory.” To read the full article, please click Assessing Stories Managers Tell.
