jeffers Congratulations to Nacogdoches City Manager Jim Jeffers for receiving the Texas Department of Transportation’s Road Hand Award. TxDOT honored Jim on December 15 with this prestigious award recognizing him for his advocacy for past, present and future East Texas transportation needs. Jim joins only 200 people who have received the award since 1973. The names of Road Hand recipients are inscribed on the Road Hand Hall of Honor plaque that hangs in the foyer of the historic Dewitt C. Greer Highway Building in Austin.
