Meet Your Colleagues

The TCMA Management Messenger welcomes Rick Chaffin to his position as city manager for the City of Corinth. Rick’s appointment began December 2, 2013.

Rick has more than 20 years of experience in city government and focuses on general management, community planning and development, organizational development, strategic planning, board governance, finance and capital project planning and intergovernmental and community relations.  Rick strongly believes in collaboration, citizen involvement, teamwork, governmental transparency, and leading and managing in a framework of unquestioned ethics and integrity.

Immediately prior to joining the City of Corinth, Rick served as deputy city manager of the city of McKinney.  He also served as city manager in Roswell and Griffin, Georgia, and Mount Pleasant and Lampasas, Texas.

Rick is a member of the TCMA and ICMA. He served as past president of TCMA Region 5.  He has a Master’s degree in urban affairs from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Texas at Tyler.

Rick has been married to Lisa for 23 years.  They have two teen daughters: Taylor and Lauren.

The TCMA Management Messenger welcomes Nancy Wooldridge to her new position as the city manager for the City of Dublin. Nancy’s appointment began July 8, 2013. Her last employer was Choice Homes out of Arlington. She managed four residential neighborhoods with one being a joint venture building entry level homes for the low income with former Fort Worth Mayor Kenneth Barr.

After retiring to Dublin she took over the management of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce for several years and accepted the invitation to become Dublin city manager this past summer.

Nancy and her husband Clifton have lived in Dublin for 15 years. They have two children Gina and Clifton Jr., and six grandsons. Nancy enjoys reading, gardening, traveling and working at the First United Methodist Church.
