The TCMA Management Messenger welcomes Bryan Grimes to his new position as the city manager of the City of Ballinger. Bryan’s appointment as city manager began June 2, 2014. Bryan comes to Ballinger from the City of Anson, where he served as city manager for nearly three years. He began in the management profession as the city manager for the City of Petersburg. Previously, Bryan worked in the private sector in various governmental affairs positions. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in 1996.
Bryan and his wife, Heather, have been married for 13 years and have three children: Skyler, Scarlett, and Zach. Bryan’s hobbies include coaching his children’s youth sports, running, basketball, and golf.
The Management Messenger welcomes Sean Fox to his new position as town manager of the Town of Sunnyvale. Sean is a 27year veteran of the United States Navy. He flew S-3B Vikings off of aircraft carriers and the E-6B Mercury providing Nuclear Command and Control to the National Command Authority.
Following his service in the Navy, Sean was appointed as the city manager of the City of Pantego. During his service there, he focused on initiatives related to policies, procedures, and infrastructure, as well as serving as the economic development director. Sean entered the private sector for a short period working as a program manager in the aerospace industry for Parker Hannifin. He wanted to return to serve in municipal government and began his current position as the town manager of the Town of Sunnyvale on June 2. He has quickly learned that the Town of Sunnyvale is methodical in its approach to growth while maintaining the best aspects of its uniqueness, and is impressed by the town’s superior level of quality service.
Sean is married to Tracy Fox of Clearwater, Kansas. They have a daughter who is a Navy Nurse stationed in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
